How to be more outgoing has to do with the environment more than anything else. You’re probably more in low-key and familiar environments if you’re shy or socially awkward.
If you have trouble fitting in then throwing yourself into party and club environments can be very uncomfortable.
Very outgoing people are usually found in these environments.
When you can learn how to be outgoing it feels like getting an open ticket to just about anywhere in the social environment, it becomes so easy to fit in.
Like I said before the key to being outgoing is your environment.
You’re not comfortable in the party and club scene because you always stay away from it.
Getting familiar in those places is what you need to do.
Your first and foremost job is getting out in those environments more often. Confidence is built when you go out more and more and it doesn’t feel foreign anymore.
Yes it can be intimidating and daunting but going through this process is the key to how to be more outgoing.
Luckily I have a simple 3 step method that makes this process much easier.
First, grab a wing-man.
Usually a wing-man is referred to someone who helps you when you’re trying to get a woman’s number. But in this case the purpose of your wing-man is to go to social events with you. If he’s shy and introverted too and wants to change that then it’s even better.
Second. Whenever you’re going to parties, clubs or whatever have him join you. This way when you’re at parties you won’t feel alone.
Third. To start a conversation go up to people and say something, when they respond have your wing-man respond afterwards. And a group chat begins using a technique that makes you seem natural to others.
How to be more outgoing is a lot less intimidating when you follow these three steps. As you get familiar with these situations more and you’re your confidence begins to grow.
